Types of Courses
Service Training
Service Training courses are designed to provide your service personnel with an understanding of the construction, operation and maintenance of JLG® equipment. Successful completion of this course (passing grade of 80% or better) prepares graduates to perform prescribed maintenance and warranty repairs on specific JLG® equipment.
Safety Training
JLG offers Train-the-Trainer programs designed to provide everything you need to teach MEWP and/or telehandler operators. Our Train-the-Trainer programs are only offered in McConnellsburg, PA, so our customers can take advantage of our purpose-built, hands-on training facility. Your instructors will get maximum hands-on time and leave here fully qualified to teach operators.
JLG offers three Train-the-Trainer programs, including:
- Mobile Elevating Work Platform and Telehandler Train-the-Trainer BLENDED Program
- Mobile Elevating Work Platform Train-the-Trainer CLASSROOM ONLY Program
- Telehandler Train-the-Trainer CLASSROOM ONLY Program
The Mobile Elevating Work Platform and Telehandler Train-the-Trainer BLENDED programs consist of instructor-facilitated online pre-classroom work followed by a three-day instructor-led session in McConnellsburg, PA. This blended program qualifies successful participants to teach the JLG® MEWP Operator Training Program and the JLG® Telehandler Operator Training program.
The Mobile Elevating Work Platform Train-the-Trainer CLASSROOM ONLY program is a traditional, three-day instructor-led classroom training program that qualifies successful participants to teach the JLG® Mobile Elevating Work Platform Operator Training Program, which includes boom lift and scissor lift training (NOT telehandlers).
The Telehandler Train-the-Trainer CLASSROOM ONLY program is a traditional, three-day instructor-led classroom training program that qualifies successful participants to teach the JLG® Telehandler Training Program only (NOT Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).
