In order to continue providing our service offerings to fleets around the country, JLG has opened a new, sustainability-focused service center in Las Vegas, Nevada. With eight service bays, three ten-ton and two five-ton cranes, and two acres of storage space, this 30,000-square-foot service center will provide customers expert servicing and repair on their equipment with an enhanced focus on efficiency and environmental impact. The Las Vegas Service Center is the fifth JLG service center location, and the only west of Texas.
The new Las Vegas Service Center is supplied with an exterior wash pad on site, which will recirculate and filter the water used in order to reduce waste and prevent harmful chemicals from entering the sewage system. A floor basin will collect, treat and repurpose the water and over time any waste will be hauled away for proper disposal.
Also present at the new western JLG Service Center location will be a Solar Power Lift Dock. This solar-powered feature will allow service technicians to adjust for height variations of any equipment loaded into the service bay. With this new Solar Power Lift Dock, JLG plans to eliminate the use of electric and hydraulic lift docks for all other service centers across the country in the future.
