Enhanced performance capabilities
Specifically designed to meet worksite demands, now and in the future, the new JLG ES4046 model was built with power options and advanced technologies in mind.

It boasts increased productivity thanks to a more than 40% increase in duty cycles over its hydraulic drive predecessor (the R4045 model). And, because it has an indoor capacity of three occupants — a 20% increase in capacity compared to competitive models — operators can carry more materials and tools to height more efficiently.
The ES4046 also reduces operating costs with its AC electric drive design, featured in the video JLG ES4046 Electric Scissor Lift—AC Drive Motors Overview Integrated components containing reduced hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings on the entire machine. These features translate to optimal functionality and increased uptime, as well as reduce the potential for leaks and result in fewer service calls.
Application-driven design

Later this year, JLG will introduce a lithium-ion battery option to offer fast charging, efficient work in low-ambient temperatures, less maintenance and longer battery life. Additional optional features, such as the CleanGuard® leak containment system for working on sensitive flooring, a 900-watt inverter to charge tools and the SkySense® enhanced detection system to provide operators an added level of awareness of their immediate surroundings.
Support for operators and technicians
Accessories available for operators using the new ES4046 electric scissor lift include:
- Panel Carrier: Load panels in the carrier tray outside the platform where it’s easier to transfer the panel to its elevated installation site.
- Pipe & Material Racks: Conserve platform space and reduce trip hazards by storing materials within reach.
- Work Light Kits: The job doesn’t end when the sun goes down. Add factory-quality lighting systems to this machine to maximize its workday and increase operator confidence.
- Workstation: This removable organization system is precision-made to keep tools and components within reach.
Onboard features like the standard USB charger and phone holster improve operators’ experience with the ES4046. This model also delivers a high degree of commonality with other JLG scissors to simplify routine service and maintenance tasks.
